Temporomandibular joint disorders (TMDs), can cause pain in the jaw joint and in the muscles that control its movements, this may be due to a combination of factors, such as genetics, arthritis or a jaw injury, causing discomfort or discomfort when opening and closing the mouth even when speaking or chewing.
